    We are often contacted by HR to provide a pension related training for their employees.

    For example regarding:

    • Dutch Private Pensions;
    • Dutch Occupational Pensions;
    • International Pensions/Risk Coverages.

    Due to our specialization in international pensions we are used to give presentations to groups of employees with different nationalities. Which presentations and related documentation are all in the English language.

    Independent & Objective Information

    As licensed firm we are strictly independent from financial product providers. Thus we do not 'sell products'. We only provide objective information combined with our often critical advice. Which empowers employees to decide for themselves what is best for them.

    Memorandum Followed By Presentation

    Pension plans and related (inter)national aspects like coverages, own contributions, risks, taxation, investments, transfer of value and pay-out flexibility are often difficult issues for employees.

    As we focus on adding maximum value for your company and employees, we only provide Employee Pension Presentations by means of first providing a tailer-made Pension & Investment Memorandum. Which provides not only an explanation of the current situation and options but also includes our advice regarding the most relevant aspects which have the highest impact.

    The Memorandum will be sent to the employees a week before the presentation so that they can get familiar with the issues. Maybe even more important, it also provides valuable information months/years after the presentation.

    Our Presentation Style: We Make It Simple!

    During our presentation we have a strong focus on the main issues and the overall pension structure as this adds most value for the employees.

    Thus the employees will always have the feeling that they have oversight of the whole picture. Also when we are explaining certain details, they will always know what it is about and where it fits in the overall pension planning.

    Standard/Elaborate Approach

    In general we distinguish two type of approaches for our presentations:

    • The Standard Approach: Focus on informing in the most effective manner;
    • The Elaborate Approach: Focus on providing the best and most complete information.

    If your company might already have a specific approach in mind, for example based on the nationality of the current employees, it will be our pleasure to provide the presentation based on that perspective.

  • B) Standard Approach

    Step 1: Pension Memorandum

    Taking into account the existing knowledge from the audience, we draft an English Pension Memorandum which in an effective manner explains the essence about pensions, tax, investments, risk coverage, costs, pay-out flexibility, international aspects and what (not) to do.

    Step 2: Group Meeting

    We have a Personal or Zoom Meeting for the employees and go through the Pension Memorandum together and answer all their questions. Which they often appreciate very much.

    Step 3: Personal Questions

    Later on employees can mail additional personal questions, which we will gladly answer in detail.

  • C) Elaborate Approach
    • Likewise as the Standard Approach and its 3 steps but in this case we provide the best and most complete information about the mentioned topics in the Pension Memorandum and during the Meeting.
    • This includes for example an enclosure in which we present a number of projections which show for several ages/wages groups of employees what the impact would be if they would participate in the plan during 3-7 years.
  • D) Quotes

    We will gladly provide you with a tailer-made quote for the requested type of training.

    The height of each quote depends on the number of participants.

    The Elaborate Approach has a quote which is 25% higher than the Standard Approach.
